Savoury Case Asparagus Filling


  • 1 pkt white sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups (375ml) milk
  • 200g / 7 oz. can asparagus pieces
  • 1 lemon


Make the white sauce as per instructions using milk. Drain asparagus and mash with fork, then add to white sauce. Season with sea salt and pepper and serve in savoury cases topped with a generous amount of lemon zest.
