It’s a cold, windy, wet and blustery day here on the Sunshine Coast.
My boys rang me from the school bus, stating how “STARVING” they were, so I quickly sauteed an onion, added 500g lean mince, 1 cup mixed veggies and a 35g packet of French Onion soup with 1/2 cup water to make a batch of everyone’s favouite SAVOURY MiNCE! I just reduced the heat and simmered for 20 minutes allowing time for the yummy flavours to develop.
It’s a one pot wonder and a ‘go-to’ in this house to fill the bellies of my growing boys. A quick and easy afternoon tea!
