Carrot Cake Porridge
Serves 1 serve
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup oats
- 3 tbsp. grated carrot
- 1 tbsp. chopped walnuts
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
Instructions
- Into a small saucepan place ⅓ cup oats and ¾ cup water.
- Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
- Reduce heat, added 3 tbsp. grated carrot, 1 tbsp. chopped walnuts and 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup and stir.
- Cook for 4 minutes or until tender and creamy.
- Serve with additional chopped walnuts and pure maple syrup. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon if you have.
