Chilli Plum Meatballs

Chilli Plum Meatballs

Serves 4 servings


  • 500 grams pork mince (or chicken or turkey)
  • 1 cup fresh coriander leaves and stems
  • 250 gram (jar) plum sauce (I used SPC's Plum Sauce)
  • 1/4 cup sweet chilli and ginger sauce


  • In a large bowl, mix together pork mince and coriander and season with sea salt and cracked pepper.
  • Using a generous tablespoon, roll into balls.
  • Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium high heat and cook the balls until golden.
  • Combine plum sauce and sweet chilli and ginger sauce.
  • Pour the sauce over the meatballs and gently toss to coat.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes; tossing occasionally.

Recipe Notes

Optional: Serve over egg noodles, sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds.
